Nothing much to do here when you reach to the lighthouse but just to take a photo. But there is a spot near the lighthouse where you can stand and enjoy the scenic view of the ocean. If you also missed buying Binungey in the town, there are locals who sells around the area and some pasalubong like shirts, keychains,... More

Good: 1. A bit of history of Bolinao 2. Great view of Bolinao beach 3. Free entrance Bad: 1. Parking fee of 35 pesos for cars - Wow! 35 really? GREED! Overall: 3 star! A good 10-15 mins visit will do.

Visited this landmark while on a photography tripping with friends. If you are in Patar for a vacation or for the beach, you should definitely come here. It was closed during our visit, but walking up the hill rewarded us with captivating vistas of the sea and the surrounding areas of Patar.

If you are within Patar area, then you will surely pass by this light house. Trail going up is just easy and few steps. There is nothing much spectacular about it except it's old and being run by solar power. It has a nice view of the sea though. Too bad the structure beside it is already delapidated.

The lighthouse is an interesting piece of history especially if you wove it with the history of the cove and the province. The site is eerie as some of the old ruins are still there. Good place to see the cove.

There's nothing much to see in this place.vehicles are not allowed in the light house vicinity. No good parking spot around it. People are only allowed outside the light house and viewing deck. There really is not much to see here..

light house is closed but you can walk around and enjoy the view of the bay, built in 1968, worth the visit

It's good for a quick visit if you're are already around bolinao area. However, you're not allowed to go up. Hence, there isn't much to do other than take pictures outside.

We visited the lighthouse on a Thursday. There were very few souvenir shops that were open. Worst of all, since the lighthouse is under the Philippine Coast Guard, it was closed and nobody could climb up because they have no presence in the area on the day of our visit. There was no marker where one could read information about... More

We all know that whenever you want to visit a lighthouse, you need to climb lots of steps. Sometime, not good for the old and kids. However, Cape Bolinao is the easiest lighthouse to climb and from there, you will see magnificent view of Patar.
