We came on a Saturday, when the factory didn't appear to be up and running. No crowds, but the tour was still great, and the chocolate was still abundant! It's funny how they aren't losing money on the free samples because one can really only eat so much chocolate in one "standing!" An informative history lesson, too.

Recently had the chance to finally visit Maison Cailler and the first thing you will notice as you arrive is the smell of chocolate in the air. Make your way into the building and you'll pick up your audio guide and will be given a ticket with your departure time. The area where you wait is right by the store... More

Probably lots of reviews out there. I would just only add - totally worth visiting. Very good experience, total respect for product and pride in history. Cafe at the entrance is a must - go for chocolate for sure.

Fourth time with school group of around 30 17/18 yr olds... as ever the tour is pitched perfectly... just the right time.. 25min... then it's choco heaven. Staff wonderful and you gotta try the cafes hot chocolate at the end... recent renovations overseen by some French lady are just superb! Go and enjoy!

The whole experience is a must do. You should go in the morning because it is always crowded. You can wait at the ticket line around 20-30 minutes and another hour for the tour to start. A normal adult ticket is 12 chf and gives you access to the tour and sampling room. The tour gives you the chance to... More

Tickets 14 francs each. They take you through different rooms you can choose the tour in about 8 different languages. There is a free taste test at the end of a variety of their top quality products. Finally you can also buy at factory prices and my friend told me it's way cheaper than in the market but honestly their... More

We visited the Maison Cailler as a family - great for kids as the room settings appeal to a Disney like experience. The end of tour was better as they showed you how the chocolates are manufactured and you get to sample various type of Cailler chocolates.

It's well worth a visit it's free specially with the Swiss travel pass. You are given tokens and wait until your turn comes. During this time you can watch a film about chocolate making or buy chocolates. Once on the tour it's really nice. Manufacturing ingredients are shown then the process and finally you get to taste the end product... More
