Not good experience, very poor generally. Roast dinners were served en masse and catered for low level roast dinners

The place is just beautiful, I have been here as a visitor to do walking/picnicking and also been here as a paying horse rider. There is so much to do at Bell fairs. The grounds are lovely, you have lovely fields that you can play...More

Belfairs Woods is great place to go for a walk in the woods and with the Nature Reserve it is a very interesting countryside venue to visit for a day out in the open. Would highly recommend

Loads of woodlands walks in Belfairs and nearby woods. All are different in style fauna and flora. The Centre offers a fair range of food and refreshments as well as lots of information about the woodlands. Some walks go along side the Golf Course.

A great reserve with interesting visitor centre. The marked walks among the trees are well laid out and were rather muddy but we have had some awful weather. Great place to let the kids roam free.

It is open all year round - the woods and reserve that is. The visitors centre is run by Essex Wildlife so usual opening hours but check their website for specicific times.
