What a great place the greens well looked after and a real relaxing day with work colleges, only wish my playing was a bit better

This lovely municipal course has been spoiled by the failure to keep the rough in a manageable condition. Any wayward shot and I had a few results in a lost ball, as does an unlucky bounce. The two golfers in front of us had lost...More

A disgrace to call it a golf course how the council have the audacity to charge €18th play this is beyond belief fairways and rough barely cut the greens covered in sand the bunkers like concrete no rakes in them this could be a great...More

This is my second review of this course, my local, and I have to report that things have not improved. The state of the greens today are a disgrace. They have been hollow tined again and partially top dressed making putting a matter of hit...More

With a bit more care and attention this could be a wonderful course. The setting is amazing, a tight course winding though ancient woodlands with some really interesting holes. Very pretty and tricky in parts. Unfortunately its council run and a lack of care and...More

Great little course...the back 9 is pretty amazing through the woods - quite scenic. This is a very pleasant course to play at all times of the year and the course is usually very well maintained. It does go through public parks and woods however...More

An interesting reasonably well maintained municipal (full length) golf course first half of course is reasonably straightforward, second half has tighter fairways through the woods. after the round visit the green house for an excellent reasonably priced meal.

Belfairs was a ten minute walk from where I used to live. Apart from being a great place to enjoy a Sunday walk, it was even better in the Autumn to collect chestnuts from the numerous tree's there. It was always maintained and a good...More

This is quite a nice golf course not very demanding, fairly short and flat. Having said that the back 9 can be quite a challenge to golfers who splay the balls all over, most holes are tree lined which means although you're just on the...More
