The temple is beautiful, the place is clean and well maintained. It opens at 7 in the morning and closed at 4 in the evening. The ticket price is quite cheap, only 20.000 rupiah for local tourist and 35.000 rupiah for international tourist. Easy access, you can visit there with friends, family, even children

Because this is a sacred place, we suggest you to wear appropriate clothes, and behave appropriately. Do not enter the Temple using footwear.

Great escape from Yogyakarta for sunrise at Sikunir, Arjuna Temple, the oldest survived temple, and active crater. Beautiful views of potato and veggies terraces so unusual to typical rice terraces around all Indonesia. Great views of other volcanos around.

Another Tourist attraction located at Dieng Area. This entrance is different with Taman Wisata Dieng. This Attraction very near to the Dieng Main Street. This ticket same with Kawah Sikidang Ticket. So if you already buy ticket at Kawah Sikidang then no need to pay any entrance fee to enter this site. The view is good. Good place to relax at the afternoon. Better to visit around 5pm, because it will be less people and the weather much cooler. No need to rent Sarong for those who come with short pants as the rental sarong is closing. Along the way, you can buy Dieng Potato. It cost Rp 10,000 rupiah for one portion. It looks like baby potato for foreigner.

They are in the process of reconstructing more and more of these temples. The region had over 400 of them but so far only nine have been re-discovered. You can walk around with barely any interruption from other tourists. This plus the natural beauty of Dieng should be enough to convince you to spend two nights in the area.

Lastly, because of the mild altitude, the climate is very temperate and balmy! A nice relief from relentless heat and humidity in the low-lands of Indonesia.

Said to be amongst the oldest of Java's Hindu temples, the Arjuna Temple is part of a complex of temples that's still featured in annual cultural activities in Central Java province. My only regret was that the english-speaking guides were fully booked, as there were only a handful of signs explaining the monuments. You can still see several of the reliefs on the buildings, which have been carefully restored. Recommended for people who love these monuments, it's very simple so don't expect Borobudur-type settings, but still awe-inspiring. I wouldn't have gone out of my way to visit it, but because I was climbing Mount Prau and I like temples, I decided to pay a visit. It is linked to the Dharamsala and Bhima Temple. Would recommend, gives you a glimpse into day-to-day Hinduism of centuries past.

The best preserved of the remaining ancient temples of the Dieng area, which predate those of Borobudur or Prambanan.

We visited here after seeing many other temples in Central Java. We had to travel for over 3 hours to get here, and the views were spectacular en route. This temple complex was very small but very busy. There wasn’t much to see, so would only recommend a visit if your already heading to the area.

Nothing much to see over here and it’s under construction. The air is good and the scenery is breathtaking as well. But the temple compounds is mostly under renovation and bare of stuff.
