We arrived from Pangandaran and my first impression was that the place is terribly crowded. Another recognition was that women get into the water completely dressed, even with their hair still covered. Therefore, the western style dressed female will feel quite uncomfortable. Bring some leggings along and a T-Shirt to adapt. This might change with more western tourists coming but at the time being there are only a few. We were lucky to have our guide Aweng (+ 62 813-2378-0219) with us who took us further up the river where we had our very individual experience with nobody except of us in the river. The price you have to pay for this is a walk through the bush and climb some cliffs. Later, you meet the others further down the river and end the tour with the crowd again. It is fun, swimming the river, jumping down some small waterfalls and continue swimming.

Most people come here to do the group body rafting but we just came on the scooter paid 2400 rupiah each and did our own thing. Lots of fun swimming in the cave and jumping off the waterfall. Well worth the 40 minute motor bike ride from Batu Karas

What you can experience:
- Body rafting in a clean and very beautiful cave and river environment in s rainy forest
- Very pleasant water temperature
- jumping from a water fall
- jumping from threes and rocks
- swimming inside a cave
- experiencing a cave behind a waterfall
- easily accessible (very short walk from entrance, no hiking required)

A MUST for all locals and especially for Expats living in Indonesia. Was one of the top natural experiences we had so far.

Combine this tour wide a scooter ride through rise fields, villages (Kampung) and see the countryside, which itself is a highlight.

We had two tour guides who were really excellent and we would strongly suggest:

Pak Saeun: +62 813 23523929
Pak Hariman : +62 813 95275156

Both on a very good English level.

We went to the Green Canyon and the Green Valley by Scooter with our guide Harimat (who btw was great, here is his phone number: +6281395275156). On our way there, we passed a coconut plantation where we saw a "flying dog", and a puppet maker. There was no pressure to buy anything, and we didn't. We then had an amazibg morning bodyrafting in the Green Canyon. We went in bikinis and it was absolutely fine, though our knees were scraped a little. After a nice Indonesian lunch, we drove to the Green Valley, where we got on a boat and then swam through an amazing landscape. Do yourself a favor and book this tour! Some of us were a little apprehensive at first, but you don't need any kind of special gear or very high fitness level to have a lot of fun on this tour. Do it! ;)

This tourist site was awesome, the river landscape is perfect, started with the most challenged raft route (river cave tour), followed by river adventure body rafting (waterfall jump) along with river rafting, then fish therapy where the fish "kisses" our foot amidst of river tour. Ended with, family body rafting adventure into village. The beverages (lunch service within tourist package) they served was not good.

body rafting like no other. It doesnt require hiking in a long track before you can enjoy the rafting. Beautiful scenery along the stream. If you had adrenaline rush, you can try to jump from 10 meters high or just 3 meters, your choice. It's more relaxing on non-peak season of course. I suggest you to wear decent cloths (not a bikini please), just to respect the local tradition -that look, judging. Don't forget to bring your waterproof camera!

Dont worry about water proof cameras or Gopros, the guide will take your photo and hold your camera out of the water, and by half way down the river you will have forgotten to worry about it. I wish id had a t Shirt and shorts or leggings like every other female. The water here was beautiful and we floated and swam and jumped here rather than Green Canyon because the water there was muddied by rain. If you dont want to jump there are routes along the bank to take you to where you can rejoin the float. On a shared car tour we did the Valley to swim, the Canyon by boat, Turtle sanctuary and walked across the bamboo bridge. 9am-5pm £18 each all in- petrol lunch entry fees etc Incredible. Sometimes you have to be realistic about what spending an extra fiver can do for the ease of your day.
