trekked the highest peak in the district Ilam, Nepal and West Bengal, India. It was scenically rewarding with spectacular view of 4 of the 5 highest summits in the world - Kanchenjanga, Everest, Lhotse, Makalu. The 65 Km trail trekked in 6 days spreaded across singalila national park boundaries which forms the border between Sikkim and Nepal. It was mixed... More

If you enjoy trekking, don't miss the opportunity to complete the trek to sandakphu ... and phalut . The most enjoyable part of the trek is the 21 km route between sandakphu and phalut when you will be walking along the ridge with no trees or vegetation to protect you from the weather. The view in april may, when the... More

We start our journey from Manebhanjan. Hire Land Rovers from here for further journey. Local syndicate operates this booking procedure with fixed rate. Which is very good and fair for tourist. Complete 13 km tough route and arrive Tumling after long and painful 2 Hrs. On way we passing Chitrey & Meghma two small but beautiful hamlet and take permit... More

A 5 day easy moderate trek - Sandakphu (3636 m; 11,941 ft) is the highest peak of the Singalila Ridge in Darjeeling district on the West Bengal-Nepal border. Mesmerizing views, four of the five highest peaks in the world, Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu can be seen from its summit. The sleeping buddha formation formed by Kumbhakarna and Kangchenjunga is... More

I joined a trek along the Singalila Ridge. The panoramic sunrise views of the Himalayas, the Kangchenjunga and Everest ranges are breathtaking, figuratively and literally, as you are 3,500 meters into the heavens.

A must "Trek" for people who love to trek.... Amazing place very scenic. Although regular trekers call this an easy grade trek, it is by no means easy for and average city dweller, more like moderate. We took a packaged tour from Offroad Adventures from Darjeeling (you can find them on TripAdvisor) for this 7 day trek and it was... More

While there are various ways and means to take this trek/route. Sharing what we did. Travelling via train, we arrived at New Jalpaiguri from where we took a car to Manebhanjan (we were lucky to club with fellow trekkers - otherwise you are travelling in a smaller group of less than 7, then best advised to take a share from... I went to Sandakphu trekking last month (Oct-16) with my school friend. This is the highest point in West bengal and it is a 32Km one way trek from Manebhanjan. We completed the trek in 3 days whereas the experienced trekkers can do in 2 days. There is a motorable road also there where the land rovers can take the... More

This was one of my best experience, from there you'll get most scenic view of singhalia national park and the view of everest, kanchenjunga and few more peaks of great himalayas. You can either trek there or rent a range rover. I'll suggest trek, because in rover, you'll miss amazing scenic beauty and avoid solo trekking, if you aren't familiar... More
