Sandakphu is located in the eastern Himalayas. It lies on the border of India and Nepal. Singalila national park is a conservation area. Sandakphu is the highest peak of West Bengal. Mount Kanchenjunga is clearly visible from here.

Snowed on the 25th. Went up there from Kurseong. Took the local old landrover roadmaster. Had a wonderful time.

You have a choice of going all the way till Sandakpu in a Land Rover ( The only Transport which can go on those roads ) or Trek !! we chose the mid path .. we hired a vehicle kept our bags and treked .......More

Jeet, I don't think Jio SIM will work at Sandakphu, we got access through AIRTEL and BSNL. Don't forget to carry your Voter ID card
