Complex of wooden buildings formed in one residence in narrow valley. Signing and dancing show was amusing. It made the visit even more interesting. Some temple in side valley is in the areal. Another possibility is to climb on surrounding walls and enjoy the outlook....More

Enshi Tusi Castle is located within the city. We took a taxi from our hotel and paid RMB50/person for the entrance ticket. The Tusi site is large and surrounded by wall. At the LHS of gate entrance, we visited the main living quarters called Jiuxindang....More

We went there in the evening time. It's a very beautiful place with historic temples. It takes about 2 hours to see the complete place. You can take a cab which will take about 15 RMB and 10 mins to reach this place from city...More

A little spendy to see a rebuilt Tujia People's wooden castle. I understand it has been rebuilt dozens of times over the last 1000 years. Nonetheless very cool with great statues at the entrance to the temple proper and a quiet relaxing bamboo garden to...More

I really enjoyed the sites and the walking paths. There were many spots where I could have been Chihiro in the Miyazaki masterpiece even though I realize we are certainly in China. I would love to visit again.

The architecture here is really quite beautiful and the grounds are very nice to walk around and get a feeling of what life may have been like years ago. The staff in the park is extremely friendly. We only had about an hour to stay...More

Liked the performances and also the architecture and designs. A pretty good copy of the original castle which I understand has been destroyed. Within city limits so not far to travel if you only have a short time in Enshi.
