We toured the cellars and tasted some wine. The winery is quite new and quite beautiful and located at the base of some snow capped mountains. Unfortunately the wine left something to be desired but to be fair only their low end wines were available to taste - not very smart marketing.

Was more impressed by a couple of the wines than I expected to be. This place is off the beaten path for sure but is set up for professional wine tastings and does not disappoint. Two of the premium wines caught my attention well enough than I brought some home.

we have arrived around 2pm, there were few people just finishing off buying wines and leaving. as they left we asked if we can taste some wine and were told no tasting is only by appointment. disappointing, first rule of any business is that when you have customers willing to spend money then you make sure they do so. not that it was busy or something. we were literally the only people there and in fact around the village. they have signs on the main road saying that wine tasting and wine tours and pointing at the right direction but when you arrive it is a different story. if you can not deliver what you advertise then do not advertise. what is the point. lady at the reception also has no clue what customer service means. no greeting, no welcoming whatsoever. it is like a joke. after waiting for few minutes with the hope that she would say something, we had to approach her to say hi and asked if we can taste some wine and buy some after tasting as per the massive billboard they had on the road. no that was just too much to ask apparently. all in all it just waste of our time. so you dont..

Wanted to visit the winery for a while and finally made it with my grandparents. The set up is very good, they really put an effort to make it attractive for visitors. Our guide was excellent and full of information about the process of making wine. Last but not least, the winery makes some really tasty wine which is sold there at "factory" prices.

Drove to the middle of nowhere to find this place, and asked to use the restroom. We were the only group there. Tried to find a guide, in the end we went down to the cellars to try to find one to get a tour. No-one there to show us around. A security guard ran down the stairs, yelled at us, and asked us to leave. Apparently we should have asked him to find a guide for us...

Dear KjetilOe,
We are really sorry for the bad experience you had. The weekends we work only with reservations, the guide is in the winery only if we have reservations made. During the week - 8:30 - 17:00 we have a guide available even without reservations. The security guys, they don't speak foreign languages, they are looking for the security only.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Best regards,

We arrived late to no tastings and everyone ready to go home. So bought a selection including the premium range as they have three levels of wine.
The winery is modern and the wine reflects the investment. I don't want to go into details other than to say whatever you preference, the wine will not disappoint.
As this place is on the way to our place in Bansko, it will be the perfect detour.

Drove from Borovets to visit the Winery, arrived to find a security guard who would not allow us to taste any of the wines there was nobody available to show us around so we got back in the car and drove away again. A real waste of a 2 hour round trip!
