This museum actually in Pomona has a large range of exhibits and a huge collection of objects all related to the area of the Sunshine Coast. Lots of friendly volunteers who are happy to have a chat. Well worth a visit.

I normally love this type of museum but this just missed it for me. Lots of photographs and the small building in such a town probably gives a good feeling of what Noosa and the region was like in the past.

A small museum in Pomona, but full of history of the Noosa Shire. Thousands of photographs and family histories. A real step back in time. Well worth the visit.
