This is a good, wide, gravel trail along the Squamish river, used by walkers, dog-walkers (we noticed a few dogs were not on leash, so keep that in mind if it concerns you), and cyclists alike. There are plenty of benches for stopping to rest...More

This is an ideal spot to break up your southbound drive to Vancouver or your northbound trip to Whistler and beyond. If you've packed your pooch, then it's even better because it's a perfect spot to walk your four legged friend. The signage to find...More

Went to the Watershed Grill which is on Eagle’a Run. The view of the River and watching the Eagles was a lovely experience.

Easy to access and with an easy walking path. Excellent viewing of eagles even early in the season - bring binoculars and a good camera lens

Once we had located where we were supposed to be, this is a really lovely walk and I can imagine that at the right time of year, it is truely spectacular with the eagles. Sadly we saw no eagles but enjoyed watching a couple of...More

We were in the area so decided to stop. It was not the season to see eagles and we saw no birds, it's just a river and that's it. However as we were walking along the river I saw what looked like a head pop...More

I'm sure this is fabulous during prime eagle season but outside of season it is just a dike with a view of the river which you can get elsewhere. Not worth a stop.

For such an awesome experience, I thought this attraction was modestly promoted. We came upon it by accident, while searching for a restaurant in the area. It consists of a raised path overlooking a majestic bend in a river. A large wooden statue of a...More

Eagle Run is a short embankment above a wide expanse of the swiftly flowing river. It has benches made of neat twisted cedars, but the walk is not very extensive-maybe less than a half mile. Kind of neat, but we didn't see any eagles.....there is...More

Amazing roosting territory for bald eagles but in late fall and early winter, beware of the smell from the salmon carcasses in some backwater areas. This season looks to have been too bountiful for even the bears and eagles.
