A magnificent site, for hiking enthusiasts it is truly a treat. On the other hand, be careful to bring good shoes but the view is worth it. The nearest access road can also be very scary if you have rented a small car, take your time but go there.

Coastal strips with bizarre rock dormations you can also hike along here.
Great photo top.
Not visiting the beach. Looks great from the top. Parking available free of charge. Few people. Super nice place.

Easy walk with flip flops. Drive till the most southwest point of the island.
The beach is sandy but a rough sea. Makes it impressive. Cross on the hill after the 10-15min walk where you can see over the coastline.
Must see.

Oh, great. Small parking lot. A few wide steps to reach the site and small path (in less than 5 minutes all that).
View of the ocean, and its beautiful waves that come crashing on the rocks. Of course!
A bit like the Pointe des Châteaux less frequented.
It’s better with sneakers but for the little way to go, we can go as we want.

From the parking there is a short hike to go down the beach to observe the cliffs, the sea and the waves. It makes for a nice photo.
The shame is that the road leading to the parking is in a poor state and when we went there, the parking was dirty with litter

What an amazing place !
Jaw-dropping views from high cliffs.
And the restaurant, huddled in the creak is cheap and tasty

From the parking you have a nice hike to better observe the rocks and the waves crashing up with a view on Porte d`Enfer itself - the site is perfect for great pictures and recommend wearing closed shoes to be able to walk some of the porous cliffs that are very sharp. Pay special attention to where you walk. Very hot in sunny days so wear sun protection. At the start of your hike you`ll see what is called Trou de Madame Coco a beach on a small stripe of water that stays calm and low regardless the heavy waves behind the cliffs. The view of that calm water is beautiful but in low water seems a bit unpleasant to swim as its not very clear. To complete the experience if you still have time drive towards north of the island to Pointe de la Grand Vigie - to see the cliffs from up in a panoramic view.

Just spectacular. The beach is beautiful, you can do the long cliff hike or just go to the top viewing point.
Wear decent shoes or good sandals as there are lots of sharp rocks.

BY FAR my most favorite view from the Island and I spent 2 weeks there driving all over! if you dont see anything see this! I even preferred it to the Pointe des Chateaux which was filled with tourist! This was much calmer and a WAYYYY better view. There are many overlook points along the main road. Just follow it around. At one pointe you can get so close to the sea that you "feel" the crashing waves! You'll be sad you missed it.

We stopped here on our tour of Grand Terre. Beautiful view, crashing waves and turquoise water and rocky cliffs.
