Nice view. 10 windmills. You can actually visit the inside of one with a guide. Once a month, it is actually in use as a demonstration. You have to go by car. Easy parking. Not a lot to see around the place.

On this trip we visited some wonderful places, churches and intricately and very embellished buildings but there is just something about these simple windmills that I loved. They are so very cute.

You can (and I did) drive right up to them. One is open for tours and another is a functioning restaurant . Surprisingly similar in construction and colour to Dutch windmills.

"En un lugar de La Mancha" the most wonderful way to feel close to Don Quijote. It is not an easy town to reach but very well worth it.

I was blessed with a great weather to allow me to take great shots of the area. The person in charge, should work to improve the admittance and provide more personnel. This is a real gem of Spain.

Nice place to see windmills, but I prefer the ones at Consuegra since there is also a castle you can visit. If driving in from the A4, one can also see additional windmills on a number of hillsides. It's a nice stop, but won't take...More

If you grew up on the story of Don Quixote, and liked it, you have to see these windmills once. Getting there is another story. For some reason the signage is awful, and we wondered the narrow alleyways of the town for some time, until...More
