I visited on spec and was certainly not disappointed. This beautiful building was spectacular both outside and in. I was fortunate in having decent weather for my walk around the outside before going in to view the wonderful interior with lots of stunning stained glass...More

The sign says Visitors are Welcome, it also says open 10am to 5pm, the latter is a total lie so assuming the former is too. I have relatives buried in the graveyard and wanted to view their graves whilst in the area. I looked it...More

Visiting Brechin found there was a motor bike festival so the town was heaving and noisy. So what a relief to visit the peace and quiet of the cathedral. So much history and the round tower is unique,

Taken here by a friend, we found this small cathedral a very charming place! A quick visit is a good idea if you pass near by! Tip if the place: if you stay nearby, check the program for evening concerts in the cathedral.
