We drove altogether 160 miles to visit Pictavia exhibition. It is still signposted in Brechin Castle, too. But it is closed. The touristboard should do a better Job and inform people

The Centre closed last autumn. But the Brechin Garden Centre is fine, with play space for children, restaurant, plants and a wide range of items for sale and its water-side walk with wild birds on the pond.

Not much to see this venue is poor compared with other venues in the area, even went here with a group of school children and they were disappointed too. Not worth the entrance fee.

I'm fascinated by the Picts so made sure to visit this site on a recent visit to Edinburgh. It would have been a great place to take some kids, and is clearly geared toward school visits. That is a great thing, local kids should have...More
