留萌港を望む高台にある神社です。
漁業の神さまをお祀りしています。
誰も、訪れないのか？！社殿の内部は、荒れ果てていましたので、可愛そうに思いました。

小さな神社。
留萌駅から留萌港方面に歩いて20分ほどだが、人口減少もあってか
少し寂しそうな感じでした。
整備されているかどうかはわからなかったです。

JR留萌駅から徒歩20分。留萌港を望む高台にある神社。
玉垣の代わりにテトラポットが置かれているのが港町の神社らしい。
境内の草はきれいに刈られていたが、参拝の際に社殿を覗くと内部は荒れ果てていた。
漁業が主要産業であるこの地で、港を見守る神社がこのような状態になっているとは神様があまりにも可哀そうである。
