Went on the slow boat and hade a nice day in the sun. Boat took 70 minutes and book ticket in advance and show up early. Can be crowded. A bus is waiting in the harbor to take you to the beach. Boat and bus is pretty costly but effective. We had 2,5 houres time to spend and had a... More

This place is beautiful! When we visited, the water temperature was perfect, the day was clear skies dotted with white puffy clouds, and colorful fish were in abundance to see through the clear ocean sea. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are looking forward to returning....downside is that this is a popular attraction for families and locals and can get... More

Its a very beutiful beach where you can try many different activities, plus, of course relax on its white sand. The water is very clean and there are several restaurants by it. You can get there from the Port by bus, it takes around 10 minutes and costs 400yen.

Close and well beaten trail with lots of tourists but try the beach west of Aharen experienced swimmers and tokoshiku.

Full amenities at the beach; there is a beach house at the entrance of the camping ground with toilets, free wifi, paying showers, vending machines, a shop just 100 meters down the road and several stalls renting gear and planks for padling. Beach chairs and parasols for rent are available. You can get, for 500 or 1000 yen, ferried to Hanari,... More

Dont' let the over-regulation of the beach bug you, snorkel within the small roped off area and resist the temptation to follow those big fish further out or the life guards will blow their whistles at you. You will see a wonderful diversity of large tropical reef fish that have clearly not been harvested for years because they are unafraid... More

It's a very nice beach equipped with showers and bathrooms nearby. Possibilities to rent parasols, chairs, masks and tubas very easily. You may also go in 5mn to an unhabited island for 1000 yens. Worth it too as quiet and good area for snorkeling

We were a group of eight adults and a kid. We went to this island on the second day after we arrived at Okinawa. We took a 70-min ferry trip to this outlying island. It was raining, but it's just a drizzle. We walked to the beach. It's nice. There's an observatory where you can climb up and enjoy the... More

This seems too good to be true. In roughly one hour from Naha, you can reach such a quiet, untouched beach! The sand is not powdery, but clean enough and the beach is not littered with rubbish. The water is clear and shallow, which means everyone can easily enjoy snorkerling. From 20m from the shore, with gear you can rent... More
