Never saw more beautiful and authentic local shrine since I'm living in Japan. The short walk inside the forest, alongside the river, and then the stone stairs leading to the wooden shrine right beside the waterfalls will leave you gaping for a few seconds.

This is one of the most amazing places in Oki! Come and sample the winning water, feel the power of the shrines in the forest and admire the beautiful waterfalls. The drive to the waterfall is also very nice.

This is a great place for a walk in the forest, quiet time at a shrine...this is my favourite place in Okinoshima Town (Dogo Island).
