Beautiful white sand beach (hard to find in the Oki Islands as most beaches are quite rocky) that is very popular in summer with locals and tourists. Swim in the warm sea, then take a break and enjoy some SAZAE (turban shell) meals at the nearby restaurant!

I went to this beach in autumn a little after the swimming season so I didn't swim but I definitely enjoyed the view and relaxed in the sun. There are log cabins and a camping area as well as a place called 'Sazae Mura' where you can have a meal filled with the local marine delicacy. I really enjoyed it and I also enjoyed talking to the owner, who was very friendly. You can take a cruise all around the Shirashima Coast from the dock on this beach. I would like to spend camp and swim here next time!
