From the Kaikondoni-Inari-jinja temple parking lot, we walked up a trial to the castle ruins. There are a lot of archeological sites that are being excavated for research in areas, but it is not closed off to access. It is the first castle we have seen that was just allowed to deteriorate naturally. It was destroyed by the Meiji govt... More

You can take a chair lift or hike up the mountain. The peak is long, so you can do a nice walk on top of it. The autumn colors are amazing!!
