The rock formations are absolutely stunning, and you can walk out all over them towards the sea. Unfortunately there's quite a lot of graffiti carved into them, but it's easy enough to look past to enjoy the really amazing scenery. My friend and I spent quite a while just clambering all over and taking photos.

I visited Senjojiki by accident - I was taking a long walk up the coastal roads to find a place for a sunset photo or two.
I had seen some information about sandstone cliffs in the area, but had no idea where they were and what to expect.
As the sun began to make its final descent into the sea, I headed down the nearest road leading to the ocean. It happened to be the parking area for Senjojiki.
I was pleased to find that you can walk out onto the sandstone formations that stick out into the water and took a lovely walk out for my sunset photos. The beauty of these formations allowed for several other fine shots - including a beautiful selfie that looks almost other worldly.

Drive and park right in front of the vast coastal sedimentary rock platform. Take a bus just a 7 mins walk down the road to the ocean front.

Kids love this place a lot. Didn't expect them to because they didn't like such places before. But Senjojiki was very accessible and easy to climb structures help the kids warm up to the activity very quickly. A nice treat of ice cream at the end can be found at the cafe there.

Mainly for photo taking, especially for sunrise/ sunset and to see the rocks. It can be very windy and cool there.

Good time to see is before sunset. If you are lucky with the clear day, the rocks, ocean and sunset view are stun. Orange color from the sunset shine to the rocks create amazing view. If there is no cloud you will see the sun drops into the north pacific ocean.

Layers of sedimentary limestone laid over millions of years exposed for you to walk on.
Like a prehistoric landscape by the sea, you half expect to find fossils as you walk. A beautiful natural shore formation.

Took a 15 min walks from our hotel to the site. Able to reach there at 6.am. Weather was good on the day. Air was fresh. Only a few locals fishing. Tourist shops all closed. The scenary was nice and very enjoyable.

I just planned to stop by for not longer than 10. minutes. I arrived there at around 5 p.m. It's so much beautiful than people's.
It's stunning view and very good weather made me spent more than hour. Just sitting and watching the sunset. Nothing else to do, all shops were closed.
My memory is there!

Very beautiful; the only problem I had with Senjojiki (apart from it being a bit touristy) is that people have carved their names and messages into the rock and have spoilt much of the surface of the natural rock. Still, you can get some very lovely photographs of Senjojiki and I would recommend it.
