It came as a surprise that a 200 yen compulsory "donation for the shrine repairs" was charged. The view from here, as with many other spots around the mountain was excellent. For this, I am not rating it any higher.

The views of the mountains offered by this shrine is magnificently unobstructed, offering a wide expanse of green foliage. The shrine itself is smaller compared with the nearby kipusenji and it inner halls are closed when we visited so we could view some of the artifacts inside. Very ancient temple. Didn't have a chance to see it's full "face" as it is under renovation. We can imagine the magnificent view from the front garden if the flowers are fully blooming.
