You will feel sea breeze and listen the sound of waves also have view of a small island front of you, it's gonna be amazing experience indeed. Some one wrote on a rock beside the bath saying "Get in bath with view of USA/Pacific Ocean" and it's true. Then, free of charge if you are a visitor of hotels who... More

Hokkawa Onsen aka Kurone-Iwa-buro offers three open-air baths (rotenburo) on the edge of the Sagami-nada Sea, Shizuoka, Japan. The two mixed baths (Konyoku) are lined with rocks, with an open changing area for guys. There is a round-shaped ladies only bath with an enclosed changing area. This was one of my favourite places to visit during my first trip to Japan in September 2014. There's something really wonderful about soaking in a hot spring as the waves crash mere metres away. Truly invigorating and eye-opening. We lost track of time and probably spent about 90 mins of bliss in the mixed pools. It's only 600 yen... More

A public owned, small admission fee onsen on the shore. There is a separate pool for women or everyone can go in the first pool. Very relaxing view and with the sound of the ocean it made for a really nice soak. Also known as Kuroneiwa-buro. The mens changing area is right next to the pool but it doesn't matter... More
