easy to access by car, some bus tour available from Nishi-Funabashi station but it's necessary to book in advance (only in Japanese). Nice walking around and chance to eat deep fried deer meat, very soft and delicious!

The current Otaki castle is a replica (not an accurate one, since there were no blueprints to follow) of the original stronghold of the Satomi clan, who ruled the whole Boso peninsula in the 16th Century.
