Definitely worth a visit if you live in the Kanto area (but not if you're just on vacation in Japan). It's about a 20 min brisk walk from Higashimatsuyama Station which in turn is about 50 mins from Ikebukuro on the Sobu Line (Rapid/Express trains). Two excavated little hills with more than. 200 holes, each showing the place of a former tomb. You can also enter the small public part of the catacombs. 300 yen entrance fee is not much but still a bit expensive.
