This is a historic Shinto shrine located on a bluff above the ocean in Ooarai. The shrine itself, while very pretty, is quite small compared to the typical shrines tourists visit in larger cities. In front of the shrine, Torii ,the gate, stands on the shore. God comes down here to visit the shrine. Sun rise behind the gate.
