The waterfall did not look very big - from the angle we could see. But the view around it was very impressive. It was very windy too, so do wear warmly when visiting this place. We sighted some deer while walking back - actually walked...More

Maybe it was the time of the year but it was hard to see any water. Great view out over the rocks and sea though.

If you go,visit in Early Spring when the water is gushing out, otherwise in Summer, your shower water has better pressure!

Went to the visitor centre just after 9.00am. The staff were very helpful with maps and advice - speaking some English. They gave advice about the unlikely posibilty of meeting a bear. We decided to walk to the falls and had only walked about 5...More

Visited when it was misty so we could not see the waterfall clearly but the hike was still very enjoyable. Surprised to see many wild deers as we walked! Note: The trail towards the waterfall is slightly downwards-sloping, so the walk back is somewhat more...More

So many have reviewed the area that in summer it is infested or the walkways are blocked due to brown bears, but I think it's great on the centre's part to be aware of safety and not wanting people mauled. However we enjoyed the snow...More

Lucky me, it could be so beautiful from the visitor centre! But go earlier! I took the 12:30pm bus and started the walk and I nearly had to run back as the last bus was 2pm back to town! It’s at least 30 min one...More

A very pleasant 2km walk to the falls. Allow 40” to walk in winter. Do take care walking on the narrow pathways.

From the parking lot, it takes 30 mins to walk to the cliff if you walk slowly. You wouldn't walk fast with the amazing picturesque scenery en route to the cliff. Spring was a perfect time to visit this place as it wasn't very cold,...More

Basically you can just walk out the trail but don't start too late. It will be completely dark after sunset. There are bear sightings in the area too.
