Apart from the most visited aquarium, there are other facilities around the park. My favorite actually goes to the Sea Culture Museum with an impressive collection of canoes and ships, as well as anthropological exhibits of the Pacific Islands.

This was not my first visit.....but it always amazes me how much there is to see and do here in this beautiful setting. This time I did not visit the aquarium which is so impressive....but did visit the dolphin show, the cultural museum, the planitarium and the "Tropical Dream Center".....my favorite. I love walking through the exquisite gardens.......with all the exotic orchids and other plants. What a peaceful way to spend a few hours! The park has something for everyone....the kids seem to really enjoy it as well. There are places to rest and enjoy the view... well kept gardens throughout the park and places to get refreshments.

It’s all about presentation isn’t it? The beauty of the layout the spaciousness which relaxes one is a feature that adds to the information and demonstration in each exhibit. When we found the aquarium to be quite crowded, we went to the ancient village which was deserted . We finally found a relaxed strolling that provides meditation on sky sound and light to be just what we needed to detox after city and cement. The beach is beautiful and I wish we had time to enjoy it but four hours in this park is not enough. Plan went over a day to really aware of everything. So far it was the best of Okinawa.

Great for families, from trampolines to turtle watching to photo opportunities. Really nice space to walk through. The winding paths, the curated gardens. Really lovely area to pack a lunch and have a picnic.

Everyone here is helpful, friendly, and all about having fun in a beautiful setting. This park surrounds the aquarium and is a great place for a picnic, a day outdoors, or to watch special events. A wonderful spot in North Okinawa.

Ocean Expo Park is a very spacious park with several major attractions, including Tropical Dream Center, which has many tropical trees and flowers, and Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium.
Save your energy and ride the trolley from one attraction to the next. The trolley is only 200 yen for a ticket that you can use all through a day, getting off and on at the various attractions. It’s well worth it.
There’s no trolley schedule posted. You go to one of the stops and wait until a trolley shows up. In our case, we took the trolley twice. Both times, we had to wait less than 5 minutes. But we heard from other tourists that they’d not had that good luck and had to wait quite a while.
