If you'd like to feel sacred, you don't have to visit Ise Shrine. Go straight to Yahiko. Stay calm, and just feel the atmosphere.

Very old shrine enshring the grandchild of Amaterasu-oomikami the goddess to guard the emperor family Sacred atmosphere surrounded by beautiful nature 古い神様を祀る綺麗な神社 信仰がまだ生きており、伝統を感じられます 朝早起きすれば神事も見せていただけるそうです(一月と二月前半はお休み) 兎の伝説にちなんだお菓子がたくさん

This shrine was one of the nicest I seen on my touring around the area. It was very nice even though the weather was not the best. If you are in the area I would suggest visiting Yahiko Shrine.
