We spent a while just to locate it as we were looking at a wrong spot on Google map. We parked the car by the carpark beside the road, and took a short to where tourists were gathering and taking photo shot of the tall...More

Patchwork no Michi is interesting yet I do not know how to pinpoint it. It is not just a place, it is more like an area. If you drive, start from Furano National Highway and go round Omura, Yubari, Mita, even Ishiyama area, you can...More

This area is picturesque and around mid July is beautiful. It is best accessed by car or by taking a bus tour. I imagine it's a bit like the rolling hills of Tuscany on a small scale. For the best views, a sunny and clear...More

Such an amazing sight! Good if you have a bicycle but otherwise, you can stop your car (Please make sure you turn on your hazard) and take a nice video!

A place for good photo spots for your trip to Hokkaido. If you are renting bicycles, best to get the Electric ones as there are a number of up slopes especially at the entrances to the road. Your legs will thank you !

This is a must see in Biei. It's a very serene space filled with photo spots. There are farms that showcase their stock of sheep and pony, but you'll have to look around. I spent about 2 hours driving around in this area. I seen...More

Since it was summer, there were no contrasting colours to distinctly see the patchwork. Every thing was green or brown. However, still a nice quiet drive in the morning with fresh air.

I believe there is a bus that goes around the area for the tourists. If you are visiting the area for more than 24 hours, then a rental car is a good idea.
