Moc Chau is the tea town indeed! Thousands green tea plantations surrounded the town! The fresh smell made me feel so relaxed! Love it!

I was able to visit this place by joining a packaged tour (Review Moc Chau, they have a page on facebook).

It was my first to see a tea plantation and the views were amazing!
You can walk around and choose a spot for great photos. You can also rent traditional Vietnamese clothes to wear while strolling.

We arrived around 3-4pm on a saturday and there were only a handful of tourists- mostly, if not all were locals. We first went inside through the gate on the right side. Later we walked across the street and went inside the other side which I thought had better views and fewer people :)

This is tea plantation of a Taiwan company and workers live near the farm. Most of them are ethnic minority. I visited this plantation in Feb 2019 and it was harvesting season. Sunset is the perfect time to take picture or have a sip of hot green tea on the field.

Got up for the sunrise and went that direction . A lot of fog in the morning so sun rise wasnt that good . But when the fog clears away you get some beutiful views .
There is a nice vally not far off the tea farm . Full of of peach and plum trees . The fruit has great taste and now is the season for picking . Motorbike for rent is around 200k d and the petrol costs nothing... so enjoy the ride .

The tea plantation has free access and it’s definitely very beautiful. You can also buy or try tea at multiple tea stands. There are lots of cute Hmong kids running around with flower baskets. Just very packed with tourists as it’s a popular venue for local tourists- avoid weekends.

It was really cool to get up close to the tea plantations! Beautiful place to take a walk and walk around for awhile. There are a lot of ladies there trying to get you to buy tea, but you can keep walking.
