This spot offers a wonderful view of Teshikaga from above. Surrounded by mountains and farm land, this observation point offers a very Hokkaido-esque view. The scale is impressive, and on partly-sunny day, watching the shadows of the clouds moving across the vast green fields is a very intense experience.
This spot also offers some park golf, bathrooms, and a small gift shop.

We had spotted this place on the map... seen it was highly reviewed... and ventured a little way off our planned route to find it. When we got there we found a massive car park, a cafe and presentation tower with viewing areas on their roof and upper floor, and apart from a single member of staff in the empty cafe, no one and nothing else.
OK, so it was a weekday morning in early October, so I get that it wasn't peak season, and it did have some lovely views of the surrounding countryside, but I was struggling to get what all the excitement was that scores this place so highly.
The place also seems to have a bit of an identity crisis. Is it Kyumarumaru Sogen or Dude Ranch. And what's the 900 bit for? Hopefully some future reviewers can clear up some of my lack of knowledge.
