Had a wonderful time--our first sail in 30 years. If you know how to sail, you'll be pleased with the character of the Nonsuch. Handles like a dream, steps right along (PHRF 200), and the cat rig is no muss, no fuss. Just revel on...More

Art, it was a delight to sail with you and Barbara last week. I appreciate your comments and also note that learning how to sail is a bit like riding a bicycle, in that once you know how, you will always know how. Just a...More

Thanks for your review Brenda and Wayne - nice to get this reminder of summer on a blustery day like we're having here today in mid-January. Hope we see you back in Cape Breton sometime!

This was definitely the highlight of my husband and I's trip to Nova Scotia. Captain Greg and his wife were wonderful, and we got to learn so much about the history of the area we were sailing thanks to them. We lucked out weather wise...More

Thanks for your review Olivia - helping newbies get a feel for handling a sailboat is very rewarding for me. I enjoyed our afternoon sail and I hope there is a sailboat of your own in your future!

I hadn't sailed for 40 years and my husband had never sailed, so we were somewhat nervous when we woke up and found the weather forecast for our afternoon on Bras d'Or was windy verging on blustery. Turned out we had nothing to fear. Captain...More

Hi 2Beachers - many thanks for your kind review - and for participating in our video shoot. We were blessed with fantastic winds for your daysail and it was a delight for me to see E. develop his skills at the helm so quickly.

If there had been more wind, it would have been a 5 star event. Unfortunately, even though Captain Greg was a wonderful host, I was disappointed with the lack of wind.

Hi Sarah. Thanks for your review. We did have unusually light winds that day but I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves - a bit more serene than we would have preferred. If you come again I'll do my best to arrange for at least 12 knots!
