First: the caves are very pretty, made accessible to walk in and enjoyably lit. Some of the stalactites are spectacular. We do not have a strong grasp of the French language but visited on the basis of other reviews: one family being given information cards...More

This was a very hot day and we thoroughly enjoyed the 14 degrees C within the cave. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable with a brilliant sense of humour. The visit is in French but this is the ideal visit for learners as I found...More

Visited this cave today while on the way back to Carcassonne Airport. Really fabulous cave with spectacular rock and crystal formations. The guide spoke mainly in French but went out of his way to explain in English as best as he could to those of...More

The Grotte de Limousin is a half hour from our vacation home in Cuxac-Cabardes, and we had never been. While there the last time, we had visitors and decided to visit the caves. I'm so glad we did. I had no idea a cave tour...More

We visited these caves with children aged 10 and 8. As other reviews confirm they are truly spectacular and well worth the visit. Unfortunately we found the guide to be only in French, but we were given an information card to read as we went...More

The caves are very beautiful. The guide spoke several languages and was able to get across most of the facts. It is advisable to take some warm clothing as it is chilly and the experience lasts about a hour. The finale with a light show...More

The caves are visually spectacular - each chamber is filled with unique, other-worldly rock formations, fascinating in their detail. The tour concludes with a clever light and music display which showcases some of the more eye-catching features of the final chamber. Best to bring sensible...More

These caves are breathtakingly beautiful and made all the more atmospheric by the use of lights and music. It is quite cool and probably advisable to take a fleece just in case. The tour is conducted solely in French which is a bit of a...More

These caves are breathtakingly beautiful. I've never been anywhere like it before and was stunned by the beautiful rock formations. There's a short walk to the entrance and then several rooms to see. You have to go with a guide and we had quite a...More

We just turned up at the advertised time and were able to join a group of about 30. Not sure in peak season though - might be worth checking.
