Enjoyed a 45 minute cruise on Lake Yamanakako to witness stirring panoramas of Mt Fuji and scenery around the lake. Got to dress in traditional Samuri and kimono costumes.

One of Fuji Five Lakes, and I think that this is the most beautiful lake out of the five. It is better than Kawaguchiko because you can get a better look at Mt Fuji. If I were to stay here again, I'll definitely pick to stay by this lake instead.

The water of lake is very clean, and if you are lucky you will see swans swimming in the lake. If the weather is fine, you can see Mt.Fuji clearly.

One of the five lakes located around Fuji San. The light and views of Fuji San are always different based on the weather. Many restaurants, shops, hotels, bnb, campgrounds located alongside or in the mountains a short drive a away. Nice trail going around the lake, perfect for q stroll or bike ride. Bike rental a available as well as boats.

Got to view Mount Fuji from different angles and also stay to watch the “diamond Fuji sunset “

Great place to take a beautiful Fujisan photo, clear sky but strong wind on the day I visit. Since it is not a weekend or holiday, the place is quiet and some shops or restaurants closed. We bought some Fujisan model items from a shop near bust station. It was a great memory for our visit to see Fujisan.

The scenery at the lake was beautiful. Mount Fuji can be seen from the lake but it was only partially visible on my visit. A band of cloud surrounded the middle of the mountain that made it look like it was wearing a tu-tu. To me that made for more interesting pictures. There were swans swimming on the lake and the water was packed with carp and koi. You can buy a ticket and go for a ride on the lake on a duck bus or a swan boat.

Such tranquility. Surrounded by lush forests with a small town this place is a very welcome change after Tokyo. Much cooler because of the altitude it’s beautiful, relaxing and of course you can see the stunning Mount Fuji which is beautiful.
