This is a great museum with a number of nautically-themed rooms to explore. Excellent value for money especially if you opt for the combined museum entry pass, ie to this museum, the Bass & Flinders Museum and the fantastic George Town Watch House Museum. Worth...More

Well curated and knowledgeable staff, each room had a theme, with interesting objects and stories. Captures the history of the area well.

Run by volunteers and a great visit in conjunction with the lighthouse. You may be lucky to see the pilot boat leave to aid a ship coming out of the head.

Fell over a door stop in the loos. Very dangerous. Broke scaphoid bone in wrist. Not happy.my friends tell me I should sue.

My wife and I visited coxswain cafe for coffee and cake, very hot outside, no umbrellas or other shade. Went inside it was hot and stuffy no ventilation. Coffee was good and cake was ok. We live locally so maybe try again on a cooler...More
