About
Count Patrick d'Aulan is the heir of 250 years of family wine tradition. His entrepreneurial enthusiasm leads him to explore the Andes Mountains in search of its best areas. There he discovers an exceptional terroir and gathers a passionate team that shares his dream: to achieve the maximum expression of Argentine wine and French savoir faire. In our historic winery, located in Chacras de Coria (Lujan de Cuyo) we combine French tradition and technology to produce wines of excellent quality. We offer guided tours to know each corner of the winery and learn about the process of making our wines, from the vineyard to the bottle with wine tastings. The winery has an exclusive restaurant called Assemblage that has a tasting menu with wine pairings.

Fabulous food and wine pairing…do not miss!
One of the best meals of my life (and we have traveled the world!). 7 courses paired with wines. The service is exceptional, the food is amazing, gorgeous views of the vineyards and Andes, good wine…and very reasonably priced considering all of the above! My husband, 22 y/o daughter and I all agreed this experience was the highlight of our Mendoza stay!

Relaxed fine dining - top class experience.
Fine dining and wine pairing in a magical location - with the foothills of the Andes as a backdrop. The staff are knowledgeable, passionate and friendly. We did a wine tour with 7 course tasting and pairing menu. Up there with some Michelin starred places we have visited……but less up their own backsides and great value given the current exchange rate. Off for a well earned siesta now!

    Personal favourite South American winery!
I normally dont do reviews - but in this case I had to. Best wines I’ve ever had, absolutely bursting with flavour and nuance. Very easy to drink (maybe too easy…). We also ate at Alta Vista and the food was excellent and paired perfectly with the wine. 10/10 experience would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

    The most amazing lunch ever!!!
Absolutely incredible 7 course lunch — the way the menu was planned to tell the family story coming from France to Argentina — through each dish and paired wine, was amazing. It was hands down the best meal we have had in Argentina and on our top 5 globally! Truly amazing!!

Very informative tour, and they’ve arranged an English speaking tour guide at short notice, which we very much appreciated. We could see that our guide knew a lot about the wine production and pairings and wanted to share his passion and knowledge with us. The wine was delicious and we were particularly impressed with sparkling wine, part of their French heritage. We loved every detail of our visit

Beautiful garden, stunning manufacturing facilities, incredibly knowledgeable staff, and the most amazing wines I tasted while on my honeymoon to Chile and Argentina! Cannot recommend this bodega enough.

We visited for a vineyard tour and tasting. Our guide your was excellent and made the tour very entertaining. His English was very good and he answered all our questions. The vineyard itself is beautiful with a great view of the mountains and the tasting room state of the art. We tried 5 wines for $4,500 pesos per person. They did offer tastings of other more expensive wines at additional cost, but we didn't feel this was necessary. As a suggestion they could offset the cost of the tour and tastings against any purchases. I think that would be well received and I know other wineries offer this. We didn't opt for the picnic lunch, but they are building a restaurant so they will be able to offer this in future. I would definitely recommend.

We visited in August 2022 for a wine tasting. Due to other people booked on the tour running late we ended up having a private tour which consisted of being shown the equipment used to make the wine, the cellar and a little of the history. If you are looking for a full tour detailing the process from the vines right through to bottling you may be disappointed as it was definitely one of the shorter tours we had during our time in Mendoza however, as we had already been to other wineries and knew the ins and outs of wine making we were happy the tour was quite short and focused more on Alta Vista itself and what makes them different. After the tour we then went straight to the tasting where we were joined by those running late. We got to try sparkling, white and red wines and other, older wines were offered to try (for an additional price). As we had other tours booked afterwards we didn't take up the option to try any of the additional wines.

Five stars must also go to the guard at the gate, who was lovely and welcoming. He was quick to help us when we discovered one of the bikes we arrived on had a punctured tyre- he contacted the bike rental company while we were on our tour and by the time we were finished the tyre had been fixed. He really saved the day for us as we were worried we wouldn't be able to continue to our next wineries.
