We stayed at a great hotel just across the road from this ski resort. The ski school (instructors spoke English but very few of the kids were Brits) catered for a first timer snowboarder and intermediate skier that needed to crack 'parallel turns'. Mam and Dad found plenty of enjoyable ski runs and the restaurants on the slopes were reasonably... More

Plenty of ski runs for people of all levels and ability. Also has loads of huts and bars scattered across the resort. Like mellau and demuls I have been going here many years and rarely run into any British so is ideal for people who want to stay away from the busier resorts. The lifts are quick and modern and... Diedamskopf is not the biggest ski arena around, but it offers a number of runs in different difficulty ranges. There are a number of blue runs for the starters, but also black ones for the advanced. Compared to nearby Mellau/ Damuels ski field there are not so many ribs in the runs and not so much loose and in the... More

Am rating this from a summer perspective. A neat ride up on the Lift, then a short walk to the top of the 'kopf'. Nice view of the valley and distant mountains. Lots of precipices on some of the paths at the top, so need to make sure to stay safe and away from the edge. There's a restaurant at... More

Nice hiking area especially in autumn. Well accessible by gondola, good hiking trails with good panorama.

Great walks from top of Diedamskopf lift. Walk to Neuhornbachhaus provides great views and is not too demanding, with welcome refreshments at Neuhornbachhaus.

The ski resort was about 5mins drive from the vacation house where we stayed in Au. We were happy of the time spent here since it wasn't crowded so everybody was just so relaxed. Great views from the restaurants and the nice excursions even for small kids.

Good size for families, especially with smaller children. Short waiting time at the lifts in the peak season

A ski resort at the top, with self-service. Nowadays, all places in the ski resorts are combined and have agreed prices. And of course, you pay more then in a local business, however the aim is to have fun skiing- a short break and more fun skiing. For tasty, romantic meals I would not recommend the self-service restaurant.

Diedamskopf is always a fun resort to go to! You fly into Friedrichshafen or Memmingen Munich West. The fun park is great, and our friends had an awesome time! We were all snowboarders (22-30y/o), and hired a van to see all the mountains in Vorarlberg, and we all voted Diedamskopf as our favourite. The food on the hill is a... More
