A must-see! Wonderful ruins in the middle of leafy woods, Visits can be arranged thorough the local tourist office, the site is quite not well kept but the ruins are amazing: three towers, a church and several houses and mills.

What a spectacular run/hike. The history of the abandoned site was fascinating. The maps within the park were very helpful. There's an excellent set of intersecting trails. On the way in/out you pass a working farm, which had a small group of sheep and one ram. They eyed me looking for some kind of handout. The village ruins, from the tower to the church, were amazing. It's only a short drive from SG and well worth it for curious hikers.…
