Paid £5 to get into the park and parked up in one of the well signposted car parks. Had a good 3 mile walk around with Tess, our Sprollie on well maintained and marked paths. On return, fancied an ice cream, but kiosk not open....More

I mentioned to a friend that we were going to visit The Gower in Wales in our campervan. He recommended Pembrey Country Park, just across the estuary from the Gower, was worth a visit. He stated that the 8 mile long beach is fantastic, he...More

The park is lovely with skiing and a beautiful beach but the camp sight was just average with more DO NOT rules than expected! Really limited things no ball games no foot ball rounders or tennis did not expect that! The toilet block was being...More

Great day out walking, or loads of things to do for the kids. Take a BBQ of picnic. The beach is stunning or play in the park. The ski sloop and golf are great too

Pembrey Country Park can be found between the towns of Burry Port and Kidwelly, in the county of Carmarthenshire. This hidden gem of a site has a tremendous history, as a former Ordinance Factory (More should be made of this). Next to the country park,...More

The new amenity block advertised on website is fine for caravans but miles away from campsite. Two sinks and one draining board also miles away from tents. The three portaloos for the tents (approx) 200 pitches are vile. I've seen (smelled) nicer loos at music...More

hi im thinking of going camping at this park some time in august 2018, i need a little more info about the site, 1) do they have electric hook up for tents, 2) what are the showers like, large space, clean, pay per use ie 50p for 5 minutes, push button etc. 3) are there any disabled shower facilities and or family shower/bath rooms. 4) also what was the ground condition like, muddy wet etc we went to Borth last year and it was the first time in about 20 years of camping that i left a site early because it was a swamp under the tent and when it rained it felt like a stream running under the ground sheet. (we did not mind the 40 mph winds or the rain as the tent can take up to 50/60mph and we was dry an toasty inside it). 5) do u know the cost of the skiing lessons as i cant seem to find out online. Any reply will be greatly appriciated, one fellow traveller to another many thanks
