Always a great pint, & the 'golden hen' was superb this weekend. Hope it becomes a regular. Always a nice atmosphere, bar, lounge or outside.

What a great pub this is! It's a free-house and there's a huge and varied choice of ales on hand pump which are really well-kept. The staff are really friendly. The pub is traditional in decor (spotless) and really cosy with an open fire. Always...More

Smallish but very friendly local pub. If you like your beer, this is the place to come. Always a good variety of cask ales. Cosy real fire and newspapers top read. Doesn't open in the day time though.
