Lovely walk. We were very lucky with the weather in October. Scenery is amazing. Parking can be tricky but worth the effort.

Had a lovely walk in beautiful surroundings. Tide goes well out so you may have to watch but we manage a good walk

One of the iconic experiences associated with a visit to The Western Highlands is to view The Silver Sands of Morar. Do it and you'll not be disappointed.

This is one of the most stunning beaches in the world. Clean, white and quite. A little piece of heaven

Fantastic beach with proper white sands. Not another person in sight on a warm October day. Well worth a visit but I can imagine its mobbed in the summer.

Make sure you have had instructions on how to get to the more secluded beaches, well worth the effort. Wear walking boots. Best at low tide.

Gorgeous beach, beautiful views, clean. Lovely to swim in if you can brave the cold. Easy to get to and has parking by the side of the road or a free car park a few yards up.

Hard to get to but worth it. The beach was quiet, not much crowd. Its peaceful and beautiful. With a beautiful day, weather was good and hot temperature, its great to walk on the beach. Rare to find a beach in Scotland, most of the waterfront were rocks and cliffs. We spent lots of time taking gorgeous photographs.

Not much you can really say about the Silver Sands: it's stunning in good weather, dramatically so in bad; clear waters and is great for a family picnic, or-if you're in the mood, a romantic walk. If the weather is nice though, you've as much chance of getting a nearby parking space as seeing Lord Lucan riding Shergar through Mallaig... More
