The staff provide informative talks and are full on information, the museum though small is packed with artifacts and history. Due to it's size and heritage, Bagshaw doesn't compare to larger city museums in Leeds or Manchester but it is definitely worth a visit. The...More

Nice refurbished museum. A bit small but a good walk around and factual. Only open on weekends.Egyptian room is the highlight.

Friendly staff outdated displays. There seemed to be very little in the collection. More posters than artifacts. I allocated 2 hours to view and was out in 20 minutes!More

My four year old daughter always enjoys visiting this museum, in particular the Egyptian room. She has recently enjoyed completing the Halloween trail and Christmas Trail. Its also nice to warm up with a cup of tea after walking through the park.
