Having visited the Wireless Museum in Denbigh, we were recommended a trip to the 1950's Museum a couple of miles away, and what a pleasant surprise this was. From the outside it looks less than impressive, but on the inside it is large and offers...More

This place is a little gem. It's in the middle of nowhere but well worth the visit. However, if you blinked as you went past you'd miss it as its on a bend! Don't rely on the postcode for satnav as it will take you...More

Would highly recommend visiting this museum with a difference. It is packed with memories from the 50s most of which are accessible (not your usual museum) and interesting. Plenty to see and discover/remember as the rooms continue. Friendly and helpful staff on hand or easily...More

Well worth it. Only a fiver to get in. Doesn't look good from outside but once you enter the building you'll be amazed. Old cars, vintage music, clothing, all sorts of stuff on the war. Take a visit to this museum. You won't regret it...More

After seeing a leaflet about this place we decided to go. You pay £5 per adult to get in and believe me its well worth the price. There is loads of memoroblua from 50s which are all scattered around two floors. What is impressive is...More

It doesn't look like much from outside but we risked it for a fiver each and we're very glad we did. We've been round museums before of various decades but this was so much more. In some places you peer into a room through a...More

No there is nowhere to eat , but the town is only minutes away by car . Depending on what day you go , there is plenty of eating places , the glass onion on the back row is especially nice but close about 3 pm
