Clare church is one of the wool churches in Suffolk. It is hard to compete with the glories of Long Melford and Lavenham, which are like cathedrals in scale, but it is certainly a wonderful building to visit, light and characterful. By the way, Kersey...More

A real gem of a church. Very light and airy with beautiful stained glass windows, traditional pews and a peaceful atmosphere. The volunteers I met there were helpful and friendly and the Easter Sunday service I attended was welcoming and joyful. Well worth a visit.
