Such a nice piece of history

If you are somewhere near you should definitely visit this bridge. The view on the Tara canyon from the above is just stunning. You can also try Zip Line, it's so much fun.

The bridge and the canyon are quite impressive. There are multiple zip lines here, a few restaurants and an rafting center.

The Tara bridge is a view point over the Tara river. it is about 20 minuets driving from Zapljak and really worth it. There are some activities near by if some one is looking for more extreme activities.

The bridge is a must if you are visiting Montenegro. The area surrounding the bridge is beautiful. I recommend the omega from on side to the other! Another great thing to do there, is rafting on the Tara River Great place!

The Tara Bridge has a fascinating history and offers some lovey views of the canyon. It was built between 1937 and 1940 and was biggest European vehicular concrete arch bridge of its day. The area came under Italian occupation in 1942 following the 'April War' which was a German-led attack on Yugoslavia during World War 11. In order to halt... More

We went on what seemed like a pretty testing drive up to the Mountains from the Coast one day and stayed over at the Motel by the Bridge. We are used to more disciplined driving and for those without a fair bit of driving experience it might be better to go on an organised trip. The views are amongst the... More

Stopped here whilst some of our group went on the 1 minute zip wire crossing across the gorge, cost 30€. A few cafes and souvenir shops. View from the bridge quite interesting.

The bridge spanning the Tara river offers not only extraordinary views but us in itself an engineering achievment.

Large bridge with some history - lots of tourists visit here, options to raft, zipline or just walk over this high bridge. Worth a visit, but would not go out of your way to see this - there are so many other beautiful natural places you can see in the mountains of Montenegro.
