Absolutely empty. Scary almost.
Pity the tenants eking out a living from the 3 people and their Aunty who were visiting at the same time as us.
Had a massage there - pleasant staff but inexpert at their task.
The general store is useful as snacks were our go to dining option!

I returned to Bintan for a vacation. I like batik and the beach, so I revisited this place. indeed this place is relatively quiet but I have seen progress. Many shops open and move blocks. this is progress. there is a new lake next to the hotel, a new spa, and modern retail. overall I like this place. You also need to be more able to appreciate those who are there. very difficult for them. I give 5 stars because I want them to be better and give more happiness to visitors. Hopefully, we can enjoy a holiday with fun. thank you

Came to Warung Yeah and decided to walk around the area. There’s still music playing from the mall. But there’s zero shops open and you can see thru from the glass that the units seemed abandoned. The toilets are clean (that’s about all)

Nothing is opened in Lagoi Plaza, except 1 massage/Spa shop. According to our driver, all the shops were vacant since the covid pandemics started in 2019. Even the famous Mama B Bakery shop was closed down too. If u still want to get their lapis, u can still buy them fr the Warung Yeah mini mart along the Lagoi Beach. However, they r no longer freshly made in the bakery shop n not much of varieties as bf. There are still some water sports available in the Lagoi Beach. Young kids still can buy some fish food from the mini mart and feed the fish in the pond. We were here to look for Mama B bakery shop as we thought that the shop is still opened. Nothing is updated in their website which is terrible! The owner should informed the public that their shop had already closed down few years ago n only lapis is available at the mini mart. Moreover, we had messaged n placed our lapis order, but the owner didn't even informed us tat their shop already closed down in Lagoi Plaza. Saw some of the 5 stars resorts here also closed down. May need more time for this place to restore again.

I have been to Plaza Lagoi a few times. Seriously I do not mind less shops with honest local operators. Our trip today was a very unfortunate one. Went into this chinese shop after dinner. It sells birdnest, some snacks, coffee and some leaves know as Leg flower. I was introduced to Leg flowers, shared the benefits and the cost is on 25 in chinese, just 25. (which is a short form of 25,000 IDR) During payment, I was told it was 250,000 IDR which is equivalent to $25 SGD. She went on saying her chinese is no good, so just mention 25 thinking that I will understand and blar blar blar..... (Note: she is a chinese) Well... the shop is in Indonesia, prices quote must be in local currency which is in IDR, how could one quote in SGD? Amazing! I did not even asked for conversion in the first place! I did not agree with amount and walked out of the store without buying.
To the management of the mall, There are plenty of wonderful local produces which should be brought into this place instead of these low integrity company with dishonest sales tactics. I have been to Bintan many times, this is my 4th visit for 2019. Reason for my return is the simplicity, honesty and friendliness of the locals. The visit today was a very disappointed one.
Note: if you ever enter this place, please confirm the prices before paying.

Largely deserted. Shops are mostly closed or out of business. Not worth the time to visit as there is literally nothing to do there.

Although free transfer was provided from most of the hotel in bintan, there really nothing much to do. Some clothe stores, souvenirs, spas and empty food stalls. Total got 3 spas and we had a session with nibarna which is way cheaper than resort. The spa use only mattress and on the floor and free transport with booking advance. Nonetheless we did enjoy the spas and masseuses are strong which is good.

Hello, we greatly value your review about us. Hope we can give better experience in Lagoi bay. We recommend you to visit Rumah Imaji. It is the newest entertaint at 2nd floor Plaza Lagoi. Rumah Imaji, with the concept of "A Window into Bintan" is an attraction that showcased about Malay culture especially Bintan island in the form of picture and painting three dimension.:)

This mall is brand new. As we went during the off peak season, there were not many people there. The shops are adequate. There were a few restaurants, a few shops for knick knacks and clothing, 2 massage parlours, a food court and a convenience store. The plaza is between the Grand Lagoi Hotel and the Lagoi Bay. the beach is
surprisingly nice and we can see that the area is still quite quiet.
There is enough to do and see for a relaxing weekend.
