I visited Amber Fort during the day and night. both the times its spectacular and different.. sheesh mahal is must visit. sound and light show is worth watching. check summer and winter timings.

One of the must visit palaces in Jaipur, the sheesh mahal was the highlight of the visit and fantastic views of the Aravali hills throughout the palace.

Amer fort is resplendent and unmissable no doubt. But my tour was destroyed by a nagging guide who literally forced us to buy things. His behaviour was very rude. Please choose your tour travel and guide carefully

This is a must see if in Jaipur. We didn't expect it to be so beautiful and extensive. We spent a full half day exploring the Fort. You could spend longer but my mind can only absorb so much and then I need a break....More

The Amber Fort was an amazing visit and be sure to go when in Jaipur. Having a guide (booked at the hotel) was money well spent. There is a lot to learn about life at the fort. Fascinating!

Yes, there is no dress code. But advisable to be decently clothed. Definitely, you can wear shorts.
