My family & I have just returned from Australia & whilst there we visited Palm Beach- known to us brits as Summer Bay. My nephew who was also on the trip, is a big fan of Home & Away, & this was Summer Bay.
Beauitful place to visit. Worth climbing the stairs to the lighthouse although you can use a slope but it will be a slightly longer walk. Views at the top are outstanding, definitely worth the trek. The beach is clean with soft sand and clear blue...More
A beautiful beach, which reveals itself after a drive through lovely residential areas from Avalon. A great place for a walk on the beach and if you're a fan of the soap, a chance to take some souvenir shots at Alf's bait shop.

2) According to information Flamin' Galah Sydney Tours website, the Official Home and Away Tour to Summer Bay currently runs every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The pick-up point is at 1.15pm outside the sliding door entrance to the Museum of Contemporary Art on George Street, at The Rocks, Sydney. Please wait at the Museum entrance on the George Street side and NOT the waterside. When the Tour is over you will be dropped off at beautiful Manly Beach around 5pm. From Manly, you can then get on the iconic Sydney ferry back to Circular Quay (30 mins, approx. $7.4 per person).
